Take care of woolen clothes
Please always follow the washing rules for wool items and you will never be disappointed in taking care of such items.
1. Wash at 30 degrees, each color separately from other colors.
2. If tumble-drying, do so only at low temperatures.
3. No matter what wash method you use, we strongly recommend that you wash your wool items inside out. The front side of the wool garment will stay like new for a long time.
4. For hand and machine washing use only special detergents for wool and delicate fabrics. Detergents for wool should be neutral and mild.
- Avoid using strong cleansers containing enzymes and bleaches.
- Never use bleaches that contain chlorine or oxygen.
- If you use a powder detergent, it is always better to dissolve the detergent before washing. It will help prevent concentrated peas of powder from getting into wool garments, which can cause holes in the garments.
- Softeners and conditioners can be used, but you should be careful to reduce their use to a minimum. Excessive amounts of softeners can cause the formation of lint in subsequent washes. It's because softeners are a kind of lubricant, allowing the wool fibers to knit more easily across the surface of the wool garment.
5. Merino wool is naturally resistant to odors and lint formation. Therefore, a light airing to fresh the garment and a wash once a month, when it is necessary. Merino wool dries quickly, a great option to save time.
6. It is important to note that merino wool is also quite elastic, does not crease and perfectly returns to its original shape, so it is not necessary to iron it.
